[China's new PV installations in June fell sharply by 84.55% MoM] On July 23, the National Energy Administration released national power industry statistics for the period from January to June. In June, China's new PV installations reached 14.36GW, a sharp decrease of 84.55% MoM from May and a decrease of 38.45% YoY. From January to June, China's total new PV installations amounted to 212.21GW, representing a year-on-year increase of 107.07%. June's installations marked the lowest monthly figure for the year so far. Due to the impact of the installation rush by terminal users in H1, it is expected that overall PV installations will contract in H2, but there is still an anticipated increase compared to 2025.
